In one case the user reports that the "Work Offline" button is disabled and grayed out, in the other they are saying there is no "Work Offline" button at all.
Two of the three clients are stuck in "offline" mode with apparently no way to go back online. These clients were fixed by creating a new Outlook profile through the control panel. Some troubleshooting shows that the Exchange server itself seems to be okay, with Webmail and ActiveSync clients working perfectly for everybody, so this is a bit of a workaround for now.įor the 20 clients, Outlook was not even starting at all, instead giving an error about not being able to find folders associated with the profile. Three clients were running Outlook 2010, one was running 2016 and another had upgraded to 2019. When the power was eventually restored to the neighborhood, we found that 5 out of 10 Outlook installations were reporting connection issues. On the weekend there was an extended power outage at our small company's office that depleted the UPS and forced our on-premises Exchange 2010 server to shutdown. I searched the net and this sub and I can't find a very good match for the situation. I'm hoping somebody can give me a hand with an issue on stumped on.
